Anecdotes 1

- Both Stephanie Zimbalist and Pierce Brosnan were second choice to play Laura Holt and Remington Steele. Steele's character was first offered to Anthony Andrews [Picture below]

- Laura's house, that appears in the first season and at the beginning of the second one, was Stepahnie Zimbalist's real-life home.

- Michael Gleason originally envisioned Mildred Krebs as a sexy young woman in her 30s.

- Remington Steele should have ended at the end of season 4 for the audience rates were terribly low. But the rumor of Pierce Brosnan being in the new 007's movie License to Kill revived the interest of people in the show. The producers took advantage of this unexpected plug and decided to make a fifth season. Besides, actors were still under contract.

- Some season 3 episodes were shot in France, Malta and Ireland because of the summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
